Bio
Lindsey Bauer was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts. Upon graduating from Boston University, she moved to Los Angeles to attend Graduate School at Mount Saint Mary’s University Los Angeles (MSMU) where she earned her Masters degree in Education and two California teaching credentials. Lindsey has received her Education Specialist Teaching Credential in Mild to Moderate Disabilities, as well as her Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential. This year marks Lindsey’s 6th year as a Resource Teacher here at New LA. After spending the last 5 years teaching 8th grade, Lindsey is excited to begin this upcoming school year with the 6th grade team as the 6th grade Resource Teacher and case manager. As a special educator, Lindsey is committed to ensuring that every student is provided with high quality education in an inclusive learning environment. She instills a love of learning in each of her students and provides them with the necessary tools and strategies needed to be successful both in and out of the classroom.
