Bio
Morgan Baker has been working at New LA since 2020 and is dedicated to providing all learners with a rigorous and authentic education. Having graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Morgan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In her classroom, she strives to provide a safe, friendly, collaborative, and welcoming environment that supports each student in finding a passion for learning. Morgan is looking forward to teaching 6th-grade Humanities this school year and is eager to continue building on the New LA mission pillars with her students. In her spare time, Morgan likes traveling, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Blu.
